June Birthdays/Happy Birthday from South Africa 6/5/2011

Dear Family and Friends,
Upon looking on our calendar we see there are several birthdays this month.  We want to wish each one of you a very Happy Birthday.  Happy Birthday Gavin, Lorry, Julie, Colton, and McKenna.
I want you all to know we are celebrities.  We had our picture in the Dundee paper with the two Elders from Dundee, the President from Dundee, and the contractor.  It was when we signed the contract for the water project.  It was in color too.
I think our weeks are passing faster, if that is possible.  We went to Dundee on Monday to find a boarding that would accommodate four Elders.  We found a brand new duplex in the price range.  It has white tile on the floor, white walls, two bathrooms, closets in both bedrooms, and a very nice kitchen with black oven and stove top.  We may have to be buying curtains for the windows and other furnishings.  The mission President is coming Tuesday and he wants to see the location of the duplex and the land we have looked at.  We have Zone Conference on Wednesday.
We didn't teach piano on Tuesday because of the the children had chicken pox's.  We went and got our quilt on Tuesday.  It is very nice, with really bright colors.  It has lots of orange, green, yellow and black in it.  On the way back we went buy the rug weaving shop.  The owner gave us a good deal on a rug that will go with our quilt.  We also bought a runner to go down the hall way.  We are decorating our guest bedroom in African memorabilla.  So, if you want to see all our things you will have to come visit us.
We got a new student Wednesday.  She is the aunt of the girl we teach.  Thursday we taught the three kids in Dundee.  Some what the same ole same ole.
Everything is just rolling along.  Things are going great.

Love Sister and Elder Hudson

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN
